Need to Learn English
NEED ENGLISH CLASSES - Detroit Public Schools is starting FREE English classes at the Institute.
Winter 2013 English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes (beginning and advanced) will start January 7th and meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 2:35 P.M. The semester ends June 13, 2013. Please bring photo I.D. and a social security card to register. Students will also take a short reading/lifeskills placement test on the first day of class. Registration begins JANUARY 7, through FEBRUARY 15, 2013. Call the phone numbers below to register.
The Detroit Public Schools' Adult Education Office phone number is (313) 852-1089 and the phone number at the International Institute for the teachers of the ESL classes is (313) 872-0863. You can ask for Martha Dage (beginning/Intermediate) or Stephen Pobutsky (advanced).
