Floyd Howard Jr. III, Facilities Manager
Floyd Howard Jr. III, Business and Facilities Manager has been employed by IIMD since 1991. Mr. Howard, a resident of the City of Detroit since 1980, moved to the city from Vicksburg Mississippi seeking employment opportunities. Prior to working at IIMD, Mr. Howard worked in the restaurant industry, maintaining facilities at several well-known restaurants.
Mr. Howard’s position is extremely valuable to IIMD and those served as he frequently is the first point of contact. Additionally, Floyd ensures the building is up to code and passes city and state inspections, as well as maintaining a clean, COVID-19 free environment for both staff and participants.
In his 30 years of service, Mr. Howard III has never missed a day of work, nor has he ever been late. Floyd enjoys his position at IIMD because he takes pride in his work and appreciates meeting different people from all over the city and around the world.
