Vocational Training Services

Through our vocational program, the IIMD services over 40 individuals through one of three core-competency areas: carpentry, plumbing, and electrical. Foreign-born, and American-born residents with low skills are trained by certified master instructors and receive certificates in their respective trade programs. In 2015, our instructors provided 125 hours of vocational education per person with over 12,200 units of service for all three vocational programs (participation here is 90% non-foreign-born, 10% foreign-born).
