The International Institute offers a variety of foreign language classes. Why learn a foreign language? English may be the common language of business, but increasingly employers are looking for employees or interpreters who can speak additional languages to facilitate foreign trade and commerce. Foreign language students may also be interested in foreign travel, reading books, or watching films in foreign languages. It is never too late to learn something new. Our instructors are experienced educators and many of them are native speakers, so you will not only learn language by the book, but also by how people really use it.
Classes are ten weeks; each class is once a week. FEE FOR CLASSES IS $200 PER PERSON, plus a $50 registration and materials fee. (check or money order for $250.00 payable to "International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit")
Courses require a minimum of five students to occur and maximum enrollment per class is 15 students. Students, seniors, and IIMD members may qualify for a 10% discount off course registration.
