  • International Visitors Council of Metropolitan Detroit: http://www.ivcdetroit.org  IVC Detroit administers international exchange programs on behalf of the United States Department of State, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Congress, and other organizations that have an interest in promoting international relations. The International Visitors Council of Metropolitan Detroit was founded by the International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit following World War II.

Kennedy), VSA - The International Organization on Arts and Disability has been designated by the U.S. Congress as the nation's coordinating agency for arts programs for people with disabilities.
  • Detroit Public Schools English as a Second Language and GED Classes: http://detroitk12.org/admin/academic_affairs/adult_ed/class_locations/  The Detroit Public Schools were established in 1842 and have graduated many notable standouts in academics, business, government, and athletics over the years. At the International Institute, the highly-experienced teachers of the day ESL classes and GED classes are State of Michigan certified teachers through the Detroit Public Schools. ESL classes are available at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The classes regularly take advantage of our prime location by taking field trips to the many museums and institutions within walking distance of the International Institute.
  • The Yuinon, Inc. (youth mentoring): http://www.theyuinon.com/  Founded by Jason Wilson in 2005, the Yuinon's mission is to counter negative cultural influences that misdirect the lives of youth and young adults by raising awareness through innovative and relevant youth programming. The Yuinon emphasizes developing strong self-discipline and learning and retaining good moral values to produce Detroit's next generation of adults and leaders.

It is a charitable service organization that today has chapters worldwide and partners with UNICEF to assist the most impoverished and vulnerable children in the world with health care. In local communities, members assist with projects such as building playgrounds, working at homeless shelters, stocking food pantries to assist the poor, and much more.
