The International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit provides a range of services for eligible Legal Permanent Residents in the process of becoming United States Citizens. The "Successful Citizenship Program" includes:

  • Eligibility Review
  • N-400 Application Completion
  • Legal Guidance
  • Exam Preparation

    Saturday, 2:15 PM - 5:00 PM - Dearborn ESPER Branch Library, 12929 W. Warren Ave., Dearborn, MI 48126

Eligibility:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have been a Lawful Permanent Resident for at least five years (or at least three years if married to a U.S. citizen)
  • During the last five years have not been out of the U.S. for 30 months or more and have not taken a trip out of the U.S. that lasted one year or longer
  • Must have been a resident of the state from which you are filling your application for at least three months
