Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have been a Lawful Permanent Resident for at least five years (or at least three years if married to a U.S. citizen)
During the last five years have not been out of the U.S. for 30 months or more and have not taken a trip out of the U.S. that lasted one year or longer
Must have been a resident of the state from which you are filling your application for at least three months
