Vocational Training
Job Resource Program - Starting February, 2012 - in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the City of Detroit, for unemployed City of Detroit residents (new immigrants as well as long-time residents) - job readiness program, English as a Second Language classes, G.E.D. classes, vocational classes, financial literacy, computer training, resume writing and interview skills, bus routes information, individual counseling, etc. All Job Resource Program classes are free of charge. You must be unemployed or underemployed. You must be a United States citizen or eligible to legally work in the U.S. with a valid green card or valid work visa.
